This guide provides an overview of the different server setup options available in this book. You don't need to read through every manual - choose the option that best fits your needs, budget, and technical comfort level.

Home Server Setups (3 Options)
1. Home Server - Linux Mint
- Hardware Required: Any old computer (desktop/laptop) you have lying around
- Cost: Essentially free (reuse existing hardware)
- Electricity: Moderate consumption (depends on your computer)
- Internet: Requires static IP from your home ISP
- Maintenance: Moderate - may need occasional hardware maintenance
- Best For: People who want to repurpose existing hardware and don't mind slightly higher electricity costs
2. Home Server - Ubuntu
